MAKOR CHAIM- "SOURCE OF LIFE"

Makor Chaim was established in 1985 by the late Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz together with Rabbi Dov Singer, who continues to lead the organization for over 38 years. In more recent years, he was joined by Rabbi David Rabinowitz as co-Rosh Yeshiva.

Makor Chaim is renowned for the unique educational methods developed by Rabbi Dov Singer, which empower the creation of an honest, deep and attentive relationship – between the students and teachers, between man and his G-d and between man and his fellow man. The original tools we developed reveal a deep correlation between our unique educational culture and the academic and spiritual success of those who study with us. These methods are now implemented in our high school, in our many adult spiritual outreach programs – the “Beit Midrash L’Hitchadshut” and in many schools around the world as part of our “Global Lifnai V’Lifnim” Educator Development programs.

WE MOVED JUST BEFORE THE WAR!

Our new campus is located in Gush Etzion near Neve Daniel – close to where “Derech HaAvot” – the ancient road travelled by our Patriarchs between Jerusalem and Hebron, meets today’s Route 60. Indeed, this is the spot where the “Path of the Sons” meets the “Way of our Fathers!” והשיב לב אבות על בנים – ולב בנים על אבותם!

This new campus was in part a response to the tragedy of the three young students Naftali, Gilad & Ayal HY”D and  a testament to the awesome effect they had on the unity of the Jewish world at large. Once again we are at war and our programs can help unite our people more than ever!  We are in dire need of security related equipment & construction – for details, go here and help! https://makorchaim.org/donor-opportunities/
